2. Hosting and server logs

When you access this website, technically necessary data may be processed by the web server, including IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

Processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably and to detect and prevent disruptions and attacks on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Technically necessary cookies and sessions

This website uses technically necessary session information to provide functions such as the shopping cart, login, language selection and checkout. These are not used for advertising or tracking.

4. User account

If you create a user account, we process your email address, name, encrypted password and any delivery address data you choose to store. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. Orders and contract processing

For an order we process the data required to perform the contract, including name, email address, delivery address, ordered items, product variants, order status and payment information. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where statutory retention duties apply, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

6. PayPal

If you use PayPal, the information required to process payment is transferred to PayPal. The European provider is in particular PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. Further processing is carried out by PayPal under its own privacy terms.

7. Order and status emails

We use your email address to send order confirmations and information about changes to your order status. These messages form part of contract performance and are not marketing emails.

8. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose, subject to statutory commercial and tax retention requirements.

9. Recipients

Data is disclosed only where required for contract performance, legal obligations or technical operation, for example to hosting providers, payment providers, shipping providers and professional advisers where necessary.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

11. Internal analytics, IP address and geolocation

We use an internal shop statistic to understand how our website is used and to improve technical operation and our product offering. For this purpose, we may process information such as the page viewed, product views, shopping-cart actions, referrer information, a randomly generated visitor identifier and the IP address of the accessing device.

We use the IP address to determine the approximate country, region and city of the access. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the technical analysis and optimisation of the online shop as well as the detection of malfunctions and abusive use.

For approximate geolocation, the IP address is transmitted server-side to the service ipwho.is. The service returns information such as country, region and city. The resulting location data may then be stored in our internal statistics.

The provider of the service is ipwhois.io. Geolocation results are cached in our system for up to 30 days so that the same IP address does not have to be transmitted again on every page view. Local or private IP addresses are not transmitted to the geolocation service.

The full IP address may be stored in our internal statistics. It is not used for advertising purposes and is not shared with advertising networks.

12. No advertising or social-media trackers

We do not currently use external advertising trackers, social-media tracking pixels or third-party marketing analytics. The service described in section 11 is used solely for server-side IP geolocation for our internal statistics.
