Swap parts
Depending on the model, walls, fronts, roofs, doors or ramps can be swapped and recombined.
Modular 3D-printed ideas for small 1:64 scale vehicle worlds.
WieselsWelt did not begin as a business idea at a desk. It started while playing with my son.
He loves small cars, and at some point the idea came up to build a garage just for his vehicles. So I designed the first garage and made it with a 3D printer.
Seeing how much fun he had playing with it became the real beginning of WieselsWelt. One garage became several, followed by ramps, walls, doors and new parts.
WieselsWelt garages are designed for 1:64 scale model vehicles. The focus is not just a single garage, but a system that can change and grow.
Depending on the model, walls, fronts, roofs, doors or ramps can be swapped and recombined.
Multiple garages can be connected side by side to create a garage row and expanded later.
Existing parts can be rearranged into new variants, keeping the vehicle world flexible instead of fixed forever.
New modules and accessories can be added step by step without replacing the existing setup.
The idea is intentionally simple: start small, experiment, change things around and expand later. A small vehicle world can grow step by step.
When developing a model, I do not only focus on how it looks. What matters is whether the parts combine well, whether the setup can be changed and whether trying new configurations is fun.
Many ideas therefore come directly from playing and experimenting. My goal is not a static diorama that stays the same forever. WieselsWelt is meant to grow with your own ideas.
The products are 3D printed and made in small batches. This makes it possible to test new ideas, improve existing parts and gradually expand the system with new modules and accessories.
What started with one garage for my son continues to develop piece by piece.
